I called the Federal Trade Commision at 877-382-4357 and the BBB of Orange County at 909-825-7280 to report Atlas Recoveries collection calls. They are calling for a person I do not know and refuse to stop calling my home. WHEN YOU CALL TO REPORT THEM, GIVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. By law they must stop contacting you if you sent a cease communication. If they break the law, you will need proof that you sent the request; hence, the purpose for the registered letter. I am taking them to court.

He called me by my first name and stated he was calling about some kind of child safety and that a friend of mine gave him my name and number!! I hung up!!

Said I owed money in the amount of 500 would take me to court and so on! Reported it to the sheriffs office! had no idea what he was talking about

This company calls my cell phone about 4 times a day. About a 2 sec message is left. An option is given to remove phone number from this companies calling list but it does not work. I am really tired of getting calls from this number. It's really annoying.
